The vermillion rockfish is resides in off western North America from Baja California to Alaska feeding on small fish, crab, shrimp, squid and octopus. They have also earned the name Reds for their vibrant red that covers their body. They are best fished for from mid water and obviously along the bottom over rocks. This particular art piece was created with that color red in mind, little touch of spray paint and paint pen over acrylic.
